Take Some Of This was the first production by Theatre With Teeth. It was written by Charlie Whitworth and is directed by Dan Rayner, with a cast and crew of students from Exeter University. The play was performed at the Barnfield Theatre, Exeter, on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st June 2007.

Take Some Of This is a satirical take on the global political scene blended with a timeless tale of human nature and emotion.
Based on Euripides’ classics The Trojan Women and Helen, Take Some Of This transports us to the fictional ’Salemdad’, where the powerful ‘US’ is invading... no... 'liberating' the people of ‘THEM’, in search of the missing Oilivio - the body that built a thousand desires. Through innovative characters and witty dialogue, a war-torn dystopia is presented that is both humorous and scarily close to home. Tackling issues as diverse as war, the environment, gender, and the nature of writing, Take Some Of This promises to make you laugh, make you cry, and most importantly, make you think.
