The Cast

Jordan Blaxill - Matthew Golden

Jordan Blaxill has just finished his second year at the University of Exeter, where he studies Drama. Originating from Hertford, Jordan has acted in over 30 productions in the last 10 years, which most recently includes As You Like It, Macbeth, and Pericles. This will be his first time performing at the Fringe Festival. Jordan is currently in the process of writing a play for Shattered Windscreen Theatre Company to be performed at the Minack Theatre, Cornwall. This is Jordan’s second production with Theatre with Teeth, his first being Death etc by Harold Pinter. Outside of theatre, Jordan enjoys football, music, movies and writing.

Andrew Kelly - Sir Olaf Safely, Malcolm Kant, Kate Maguire

Andrew Kelly is a first-year History student at the University of Exeter. He has appeared in several local productions over the years, most recently as Eddie Hair in an adaption of The Demon Headmaster. Andrew has written his own plays for independent companies, which have been well-received. He has also written, directed and starred in comedy evenings and revues for various occasions. With his band Automated Chinchilla Mangle, Andrew performs surreal musical comedy, playing guitar, keys and vocals.

Siobhan Williams - Eva Golden

Siobhan Williams is a second year mathematics student at the University Of Exeter, and is originally from Croydon. Her previous projects include ‘Agnes of God’, ‘An Inspector Calls’ and ‘The Trojan Women’. Siobhan co-wrote a chilling surreal piece about serial killer Jack the Ripper, Blood on the Petticoat, and performed the role of Narrator. Golden is Siobhan’s first major piece of theatre at University. Siobhan has never been to Fringe Festival and is looking forward to both watching and performing there.

Nick Myles - Political Ed, Gerald Maguire

Nick Myles has been actively involved with all types of drama since a young age in his home county of Wiltshire. He first performed with LADS, a local drama company and then continued his enjoyment of drama in various school productions. He became a member of the National Youth Theatre before studying Drama at Exeter University, where he has recently finished his first year. Nick’s first Theatre with Teeth production was Death Etc, an adaptation of the book by Harold Pinter. Golden marks the first time Nick has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As well as acting Nick enjoys art, photography and climbing.

Eleanor Teasdale - Caroline Banks, 'Filthy' Richard Dagger

Eleanor Teasdale has just finished her first year of English at the University of Exeter. Golden is her second Theatre With Teeth production; she was previously in a group devised piece called The Machine, a piece of politically motivated theatre. Before University, Eleanor had been an active member of the Roses Youth Theatre in her hometown of Tewkesbury. By the time she came to university, Eleanor wanted to look at theatre in a fresh new way, to encourage new writing and Theatre With Teeth fitted the bill perfectly.

The Crew

Dan Rayner - Director

Dan Rayner has recently finished the third and final year of his Drama degree at the University of Exeter. He has directed two previous works with Theatre With Teeth; Take Some Of This, a piece of new writing, and The Machine, a devised piece. Dan is from Dartmoor, Devon, where he frequently works with the local company, MED Theatre, most often as a performer or technician. While having contributed to various collaborative scripts, Golden marks Dan’s first time as a solo playwright. After his graduation, Dan looks forward to taking some time away to work on his writing.

Amy Walters - Producer

Amy Walters is a third-year Spanish student at the University of Exeter. Her production credits include Exeter University Theatre Company’s Roberto Zucco (Assistant Producer) and Play in a Day (Producer). Amy also performed in the Exeter University Arts Week Writer’s Festival, and is a founding member of The Sweet Nothings, an all-girl a cappella group based in Exeter. This is her first Theatre With Teeth production.

Isolde Godfrey - Assistant Director

Isolde Godfrey is a first year drama student at the University of Exeter. She was recently involved in two Theatre with Teeth productions; The Machine, as Assistant Director, and Death Etc, as Producer. The University of Exeter recently chose Isolde’s script Father Grigory as a piece of promising work from a fresh talent to be developed with a professional director and actors. This summer she is featuring in a short film Zomblies II and will be training with the Commedia del’arte expert Antonio Fava in Italy. Next year she plans to co-direct Trainspotting and will be leading Theatre with Teeth as Artistic Director.
